A non-governmental organization working to support the growth and development of productive households, handicrafts, and traditional industries, meeting their developmental needs by enhancing their capabilities, empowering them, and fostering their development.

And it was established by the decision of the Minister of Economy and Trade, No. (365) for the year 2023, dated 17/07/2023.

Tasks of the regional office presidency

Leading the regional office of the union in Libya to achieve its objectives.

Coordinating work between the regional office and its various branches within Libya.

Securing and establishing partnerships with various strategic supporters.

Approval of all work plans, decisions, and initiatives related to the regional office.

Signing all internal and external agreements

Invitation to meetings of the Board of Directors of the regional office

Choose a team of expert support and assistance

Tasks of the regional office

Developing annual plans and preparing budgets for the operation of the office.

Approval of partnership proposals with various entities, forwarding them to the General Secretariat for approval, and subsequently obtaining approval from the union's presidency

Implementation of annual plans, including projects, training programs, and organizing events related to the work of the union.

Issuing newsletters and periodic magazines related to the work of the office.

Attending scheduled meetings of the General Secretariat and the Union's Board of Directors.

Approving proposals for a partnership contract with relevant authorities

Resolution No. (65) and Resolution No. (66) of 2023 shall be placed under Resolution of the Minister of Economy No. (365) of 2023 regarding the nomination of the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Arab Union of Productive Families, Crafts and Traditional Industries in the State of Libya.
